lean at idle and wot ?
hi,
I have a 99 ek that is running lean at idle (20:1) and lean with wide open throttle (14.7:1) .The only time the a/f is right, is on cold start up and at WOT above 4000 rpm (13.5:1) I can't figure this out, any one have any ideas what I could check?
things that have been replaced or are new,
fuel filter
fuel reg
distributor
o2 sensor
air intake temp
ecu
injectors
my setup
bult a6 block 8.8 ish comp
converted to obd1
rebult y7 head
y8 intake mani
hondata s300 using base p28 map (vtec disabled)
11lb flywheel
unorthodoxcrank pully
intake and full exhaust
engine has 1200km
the head and block where machined slightly just to make sure the surfaces where flat, not sure how much that would throw out the timing???? I get no cels
help

compression is suppossed to be low it's a turbo motor . tried both stock injectors and 440cc's no differnece. fuel pressure is fine (42). you blip the throttle and pressure goes up,not down so I think the pump is good. I will get it tuned but not much point to tune it yet if the car isn't running right on base maps now.also runs the same on a stock p28 ecu.
dunno I'm stumped

another note: when I go wide open the af goes down like it's supossed to for a split second, then it goes lean, seems like the computer is trying to compensate for somthing.which leads me to think it might be a sensor problem. the o2 reads 0.06v telling the computer the car is running lean but for some reason it's not adding fuel.
