Turbo b16er's, Air filter location?
well since your turbo is hooked right to the manifold and sits infront behind hte rad.just stick it there! the wind blowing in will hit it. thats wut i got anyways..im not running an intercooler, just filter on the turbo.

Thats what it currently is, but i have a feeling that since my turbo inlet is sitting right behind my rad, its killing my Intake air temps. So i wnated to route an intake somewhere, just seeign if anyone had a way they did it

Having a filter at the turbo and not having a filter is not gonna make a difference on air intake temp, If you have relocated your battery I would say that would be the best spot have your local performance shop make you up a pipe with a S bend, or get some old intakes and hack away!!!!!

Not nessecerally. I just ordered an NRG-cell battery, small as hell, tryin to mount it against the frame rail, and put the filter on top, i was just poking around to maybe see what other people did
Yah i saw those there neat, but i like the idea of goin to Honda and gettin a new battery for free if i have a problem and not ordering one and waiting, here in Florida are batt's go bad alot B/C of the heat and humidity

yeah the battery is in the trunk, its got a nice tiedown, ill take a pic of it when i get a chance. The MSD is under the air filter so i coudlnt put the battery there
haha i even wire tucked the msd... oh that ugly green thing underneath is my makita chop saw haha, ignore it

Haha i was gonna say, wtf is that.... What is up with the color, your whole motor is painted?
BTW do u think a tiny battery could fit on that frame rail?

haha no the block and valve cover are painted blue, the head is glass beaded. you cant fit a small battery in the frame rail. plus even if you could, it would probably ground itself. when i had just the b16 in there, i hid the battery in the front bumper where the stock resonator box goes. just use your stock battery tray, a few pieces of metal, and its hidden away. i wish itook a pic of it but i didnt.
the frame rail is way small, and it actually has less than half an inch of room in it at one point. people think that wire tuck goes into the frame rail, but it doesnt, it just hides under the frame rail.
i would put the battery in the back if i were you. it will save you future headaches. but this post is about air filters haha, and mine is behind the radiator, so the hot air can blow right into it!

i don't think you understand me. I want to mount a battery where your msd box is basically, and run a filter over it, and possilbly have a block off plate form the rest of the engine and the filter
