T3/T4 vs T3/T04e Oil Lines????
I purchased a t3/to4e turbo from pheonix turbo, and oil lines from stealthmode performance here on H-T. When I ordered the oil lines, there was no t3/t04e option, so I figured the t3/t4 would be the same. When I test fit the lines to the turbo, the gasket and flange fit the turbo, but the 2 bolts that bolt the flange down are too small? Does anyone know if they are the same?
just go to your local hardware store and get longer ones
cost the most 25cent unless u keep getting the wrong one
Oil return Flange bolt size
8mm x 1.25 [20mm]
Some Garrett uses 3/8-16 threads per inch [20mm]
All T series and Super T series uses the 3/8-16
just bring the turbo to the store and start test fitting

Its not that they are too short, they are too skinny. Also the threaded end of the feed line is also too thin for the feed in the turbo. So is there a difference between the oil feed or drain between the t3/t4 and the t3/to4e??
Some of the new T3 turbo's are being made with a 1/4 inlet thread instead of the standard 1/8. The couple of customers that we've heard from with this situation say that the drain flange mounting bolts and the inlet thread are different. We are updating our site to reflect the change from all T3's having standard dimensions to T3's now having two different sizes.
The homedepot plumbing section is where you can find a 1/8npt female to 1/4 male adaptor. The hardware section is where you can find the correct mounting bolt thread sizes for the drain. I don't recall the new size they are using. The total should be around $3. I'd be more than happy to cover the cost of the needed parts while we're dealing with getting these new sizes to the site. -Steve
