EK(the hatch) will it pass emissions
well as the question ask i want to buy a car and swap the engine but of course emissions is always a big problem. basicaly i want to get a EK with a usdm or jdm b16a2
since that engien is found in the 2000 civic si would this make passing emssions easier or is it the same i was going to get a 240sx and swap sr20det but i was read some people fail emssions and have to either sell the car or put the ka24 back in. i font want to do that so i was wondering will the EK be easier to pass with a b16a2. and maybe the common I/H/E aftermarket parts. and nothing else im not building a race car just something that i like, and b16a2 is a nice engine ^^

Depends on what year civic hatch. If you have a 96-98, you will probably have to convert over to OBD2b so you can run a 99-00 Civic Si USDM ECU. All the emissions systems has to be swapped over from a USDM B16 to your JDM B16 and have to be fully functional.
