Im going to do a motor swap in the near future, but not sure of what to go with. I have ideas putting a b16 preferably usdm, just to pass smog, no problem. My question is if i were to put a b16a2 in my 97 civic ex, what sensors would i have to add or what wires would i have to change around??? For example the a2 has a crank postionening sensor, what would i do about that???

I have a B16A in my car ('97). It's supposed to be out of the EK SiR or something. I failed my first smog test. I tried plugging in a stock USDM civic ECU in there and that did it.

you put the ecu from the single cam or what??? did you have any check engine lights

no he means the 99-2000 si ecu that came with the b16a2.
