Magnaflow muffler : what size?

Magnaflow muffler : what size?
I'm planning on getting a muffler shop to put on a magnaflow universal muffler with 2.5" piping tommorow.
My questions for you guys are...
-What size muffler should I get? They have: 4" x 9", 5 x 8, or 5 x 11.
-Also, should I get the: sameside offset, offset/center, center/center, or offset/offset? My car is a 1994 Civic Hatchback VX. Thanks.

Not sure... It says vtec-e on it... (I thought all VXs came with the same engine).

cuz a little backpressure is a good thing, and since you're only pushing 1.6 liters worth of exhaust, 2.5" exhaust is a little much, unless they do crush bends, in which case the diameter will be effectively decreased anyways. Try to get 2.25" MANDREL bent tubing.

your not going to have enough back pressure, so u will lose power, muffler shops will recommend 2 1/4 over 2.5, 2.5 is for like built motor guys or who have motor swaps, but as for size of muffer 4x9 is a good size, dont want anything too wide.
