well i buddy of mine might have blew the b16..he was driving and shifting from 3rd to 4th but he missed it and put it in 2nd! and now the car is dead..any clues to what might have happened? he said it blew...and smoke was puffing from the muffler when it croked..also when he checked he said that oil and coolant were mixed up in the radiator...so it's blown correct? is it fixable or rebuildable??

 

how fast was he going when he shifted from 3th to 2nd.
was the engine smoking after he downshifted.
if the engine cranks
check the compression in all pistons.

 

if anything he either dropped or bent valves.... a LOT. new head time and if the valve dropped, new motor time.
