Ok I got my b18 in from my 95 gsr and found out i couldn't use the b18 engine harness with the civic because no power was going to my ecu. (gsr ecu plugged in) So now I have my d15 wiring harness plugged into my b18 and the car runs but how do I add vtec now.

From my understanding all 92 civics were pre wired for vtec so do I just run a wire from the engine harness to the vtec selenoid or do i need to run a wire directly to the ecu.

You should have been able to use the gs-r harness with no problems. Is it a complete harness and did you check to make sure you plug up the power wires to the fuse box?

 

Yeah it was all plugged in right but I believe the gsr harness wont work with the civic cx- I know hasport sells a different harness for the cx.
