If you are just putting the block on a stand, why not just use the longest tranny bolts? That is what I did. Originally I went to a Honda dealer and a service tech gave me the dia. and tpi while I was standing there, but I still could not locate bolts at any hardware store or auto parts. I ended up going to a local Honda specific junkyard and they just gave me 4 long tranny bolts.

It depends on the size of the bolt- I think the M12s are 1.25 and the M14s are 1.5.
I had this problem because I bought the motor and tranny seperate and got no bolts. Pep Boys has high quality bolts that are the right size. The Home Depot and Lowes nearby didn't have anything.

i went to every fricken fastener shop in the fricken bay area. still no luck. finally i went to this new shop in my area called "Import Options". (cough cough ricer store[aerogear sponsored]*) and the owner hooked me up with the proper bolts.
FYI: the bolts are extra fine 7/16's. well thats what the fastener places told me.

Unless Helm's is pulling a fast one, Honda does NOT use inches in any fastener.
If they work...unless they work REALLY well I would get the correct metric bolts.
