If you had a brain I think you would get under the car and see where the oil may be coming from. How the hell is anyone going to know whats leaking without looking? If they did an oil change then check the oil plug and the oil filter. Did you really need to get help for this problem?

oh, right, yeah, let me pull out my mechanic equipment, raise the car, and check under there for where the oil may be coming from, cause i know so much about a cars anatomy that it will actually help for me to stick my head in between the piping and inspect it for myself.

well see, i'm having trouble finding the filter.

apparently, i did need help, otherwise, i wouldn't have asked, not that you had to answer...

in regards to the oil, what do you expect? We can tell you some places to check, but if you can't even locate the oil filter, and didnt take the time to look it up then you aren't capable of diagnosing the leak. Bring it to a mechanic if you are really worried. If there is not much oil and it has stopped, it was probably oil that dripped onto the block when they drained the old oil. You can check your dipstick (if you can find it) to look for oil loss.

Good for you, nobody here cares.

It's your car, do what you want to it. Nobody will see your pedals but you. Personally I have them because my pedals were worn and the metal edges were showing, and also the covers are bigger which I like since I have big feet.

Edit:

Oh you got new tires, I didn't read that before.

Yup, that's for sure where the oil is leaking. New tires man. Does it every time.

jack up your car w/ the jack that comes in your trunk. stick your head underneath your car with a camera and see if you can take a picture where the oil is coming out. then post it.

best thing to do is find a friend that knows a bit about cars and has a jack to look what is the problem.. to be honest if you dont have the tools and dont know much about cars then don't waste your time because you wont get anywhere.

you became a member on honda-tech, i made the assumption you were some sort of car enthusiast, and also assuming that you knew where the ******* filter was. Im sorry, Im going to have to dumb it down a bit from now on. I did answer and tell you what could be leaking but your reading comprehension skills must be lacking.

ok, first, no need for the lame pun about the "reading comprehension" because i did read it and i did check the areas, i found the filter and the nut on the underside and my guess is that they just didn't tighten it enough. No, you do not have to "dumb it down a bit", k. And i am a car enthusiast, but since this is my first car i've only just started looking and tinkering with different car parts, such as the "******* filter," thx for your help.

the only reason i said that was because the oil might've been leaking from shocks, but i know now that it's not.
