Car won't start!!!
Well, my brothers car won't start right now. He drives a Mazda Mellinia and the thing won't start up. We've replace the cap, rotor, and plugs, and still nothing. I took the first plug wire out to test if it was getting spark, and nothing. I'm not seeing any kind of spark, so what could it possibly be? I'm thinking it could be the whole dizzy, but I'm not sure. We don't wanna spend money on things we don't need, so I'd figure I'd get another opinion....Can anyone help a brotha out

a Mazda.
hehe. Its a Ford, thats why it won't start
Anyway, put the spark plug on the wire - put it in the cylinder half way.........have someone crank it over while you have your finger tip on the wire. You should be able to feel the spark (a popping feeling). If not, then your dizzy could be messed up. But make sure you're getting good fuel and compression.

try banging on the starterneer where the teeth are. sometimes the starter's teeth will get stuck. thats what happened to me after not starting my car for a month. that also depends if you live in a cold area

theres a couple reason to why you wouldnt be getting spark:
ignitor
bad cap/rotor
fried coil
fried dizzy
For some reason i'm leaning more towards the coil. The coil is what sends power to the dizzy. If that is gone...you will have no spark.

yea...ok you said it wont crank over. and your testing for spark?? ur kiddin rite. by saying the engine wont crank your referring to the fact that when you turn the key to start the engine the crankshaft isnt rotating.
