hey guys im lookin to buy a 92-95 cx and put my d16z6 in it out of my ex (that is toteled do to people not stop at red lights...( is this going to be a plug and play swap or do i have to wire anything in

 

i kno ul have to wire it for vtec..so take the ex wire harness with the motor as well

 

even if i use the ex engine harness and ecu i still have to run wires for it

This is true.
Unless its a '92. Then the main harness is pre-wired for vtec.
Otherwise you will need to run two wires for the passenger strut tower into the ecu plugs.

 

so 92 cx's come wired for vtec

is this for every 92 civic also

all you have to run is 3 wires. 1 ground and 2 to the ECU. its really easy. good luck

 

will i have to run anything for a knock sensor or 02 sensors?

 

i dont think the CX motor has a knock sensor. but im not too sure.

 

if i use the ex engine harness do i need to run the ground or just the solinoid and pressure switch+

i already pullled the wires out of my ex that run to the ecu but i only pulled two not the ground
