well today i was getting onto the freeway, there was alot of traffic so i was crusing about 15-20mph in 1st gear, and all of a sudden my tranny takes a ****! and expletive locks up and my car just doesnt move, car dies out then i started it up no problem, i tried to get into gears wouldnt go into any damn gear, i rev'd it up to about 4k and shoved it into first and didnt my car didnt move, got it into 4th and it barely even moved. any ideas? im guessing my tranny is gone it smelled burnt.

yep sounds like ur transmission took a dump, synchros got fux0red, get a new ITR transmission with LSD

well it wasnt leaking or anything.

should i just swap out tranny and get a new clutch?

 

swap the tranny its your problem

 

its your clutch. dont listen to stupid people on hondatech that always point to the most major thing

 

did your car ever have any clutch problems like it slipping ? since u have to take it apart anyways take a look at it,

 

never had any clutch problems, but it always made a weird sound when i started up and warmed the car up, sounded like gears grinding or something.
