Okay, say I wanted to put a d15b8 (civic cx) intake manifold on my d15b7 (civic dx). What IM gasket would I use? My engine is really a d15b2 (crx I own), but it's basically a b7. The issue is that the b7 head ports are larger than the cx intake suchness. So I didn't know which gasket to use on there.

Any helps? Thanks a ton.

well id say use the b7 gasket make more sence it seems like the cx gasket would not allow it to flow correctly being smaller than the head ports and all

 

Yeah, that's what I figured and did, I'm just going around looking for things to second guess.

 

well does it run,idle smooth if so id leave it the way it is

 

The idle is a bit crazy as a result of my manual ecu in the auto. I'm just worried about burning coolant and also a leak on the fuel filter where I took the line off. Fuel economy demands everything to run well and especially not for gas to go dripping out the car,

 

lol yea fuel laeking not good for milage well not good for any thing but the manual ecu should ot make it idle ruff when i had a manual ecu in my car it idle better then the auto p72 manual vs p06 auto

 

I have like 4 ecus sitting around, just being lazy about it tonight.
