Default Stiff clutch

I have an '86 CRX as my beater car. When i bought it the clutch pedal took about an average amount of pressure to push in all the way.

Ive had the car for over a year now & the clutch pedal is now very stiff. In fact, lots of times I can't even push it all the way down because it is just to stiff. I just figured it was normal for this to happen.

But then yesterday the pedal actually felt normal again. I was able to push it down with out getting a leg workout.

But now, today, its very stiff again. Anyone know why that is?

try bleeding the clutch, if that doesn't work try replacing the slave cylinder. and if that doen't work it might be something internal

seeing how its an 86 it probably has has a mechanical clutch. The clutch cable may be binding or else your pressure plate/friction disc may be fubar. I would remove the inspection plate and see if there are fibery pieces of clutch material. Good luck
