Default Car has been sitting for a long time. Purging old fuel?

Car has been sitting for almost 2 years without any fuel stabilizer. I know to drain the tank and refill but what about purging the old fuel that is still in the lines? I'm guessing pulling the line of the injector rail and flipping the ignition on and off to prime the pump over and over again will expel any old gas successfully? Any input or other precautions I should take.
