Default fuel line/rail

ok so i blew my motor awhile back... no fuel.. fuel pump died.. tore apart the block and #4 piston had a hole in it.. ok that being said.... so if you're looking at the fuel rail and theres one fuel line that goes into the right side and theres that other little one on the left with that nubbin thing.. sorry for being so technical.. but i was wondering if i can put 2 fuel lines one on the left and right so i can get equal amounts of fuel to all the cylinders.. because i was talking to my friend and he told me to run 2 inlets on both sides of the fuel rail so something like this doesn't happen again. I'm sure its possible, but how would i do it? just replace that fuel line on the left side? i need to check again where that left side fuel line is coming from too.. been awhile since i popped my hood

the line on the driver's side is the return line to the tank.

so no, putting two lines won't help since the pump flows MORE than enough to fill the fuel rail AND send fuel back to the tank. unless the fuel pump doesn't flow enough for your setup. Then an upgraded pump would be neccesary.
