TURBO INTEGRA PROBLEMS
I have a 99 gsr integra turbo and i have a check engine light and it was a high input map sensor problem... can you guys help me out?? What does that mean?? and What can i do to fix it... NOTE I DO HAVE MISSING LINK, VTEC CONTROLLER, 12:1 FMU, AND A WALBRO 255 FUEL PUMP. PLEASE I NEED HELP
you can't use the stock map sensor on an engine which was not forced induction to begin with. it reads between usually .1 volts - 5 volts. (dc analog signal) boost will send a very high reading to the computer and your throttle response probly won't be what it should be. for faster throttle response and more accurate readings to the ecm you should get a performance MAF, not map. MAF is faster response time than MAP. good for forced induction

I have a stock map sensor on my car running 11 psi on a T3/T04. I have a 3 BAR, but haven't installed it yet.

Get some real fuel management and not some hacked together ghetto **** and your problems will probably go away.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Are you talking about him getting an Electronic Management System or injectors (probably needs 440 cc) because Walbro FP and FMU seem all right to me?? I personally haven't had experience with using a vtec controller on a turbo Honda, but I've heard people have done it on low boost.

Yes, I am talking about something that controls fuel and ignition electronically like Hondata, Crome, Uberdata, EMS, etc, etc.
How many times does it have to be beaten into people's heads that engine management is the most important part of any healthy turbo setup?

agreed
running that FMU is prolyl washing ur cylinder walls and when its not ur on the verge of det
there is no way of knowing whats going on with a <U>risky</U> fmu setup...
to half *** it untill u get tuning, buy a wide range a/f ratio sensor and ull see first hand the ishness of a Fmu...
please listen to these guys u dont wnat to det and pop a sleeve
