Oil pressure Gauge Install...
Ok, so i am getting started on my turbo install, and am needing some help.....I am wanting to know if there is a an oil plug in the back of the block somewhere where i can hook up the sending unit to my aftermarket oil pressure gauge. I am already gonna have the factory sending unit teed off with the turbo. So, is there anywhere i can just screw the sending unit into the block by removing a plug......I know there was 2 or 3 on my OMG, i am about to say it.....my saturn SC2..lol....forget about that car right now!!!....anyways..any ideas anyone?
I beleive it's tunertoys that sells a fitting that screws into your block where the factory sending unit is beside your oil filter.
Then you screw the sending unit into the fitting and it has 2 ports on either side.
One for the oil feed, and one for the oil guage/etc.

i would recomend getting a sandwich plate. they usually have 2 extra ports, and its a lot safer than teeing off of the oil sender port. greddy makes one, as wel as golden eagle
this is the only pic i could find real quick

not that i'm aware of, just don't hook up your dummy light, by the time that comes on you had better have noticed that your oil pressure is at 5 psi.
