Default where to install autometer oil pressure sending unit?

ok i have to tap into oil somewhere, but where is the easiest, what is the most commonly known place to run the line to tap into the oil for a pressure reading? i have seen these oil pressure sandwhich plates that go between block and filter, but not sure about them, any alternatives are appreciated thanks!

i'm not boosted yet, not to sound dumb but here goes? my car has a factory oil pressure sending unit? i know it has to have some way to determine low oil pressure, thus the oil light coming on, but i didn't know you could tap in there, so where is it? back of block?

EDIT: yeah its on the back of the block, with this fitting here you screw it in place of the stock sending unit, then screw the stock one on to it and you have two more ports for whatever you need..

i bought that first fitting..works great..it has a total of three outlets for future use if needed

most common is to stick t piece into oem press location in block and stick oem and aftermarket sensor into t piece

other is sandwhich plate between oil block and oil filter and just stick aftermarket sensor into that

or this which im in process of doing right now after reading this endyn article

I recommend a sandwich adapter. It has at least 2 ports, so you can run the sender and in the future if you go turbo, you have a spot ready for the oil feed for the turbo. I used to run the T fittings but stopped after one broke on me.
