I thought it was the throwout bearning but I'm not quit sure. When I press and release my clutch pedal (with the engine off or on) it's makes a "squeaking" noise. I had my gf get in the car and press the pedal and the noise is coming from right where the clutch cable goes into the tranny... anyone have any advice?

what kind of noise was it? metal noise? if it sounds like metal noise then the tranny's doomed. check if the cables are good.

 

it is a kind of metal noise... like the cable is dry

 

it's just the rubber boot where the linkage enters the bell housing. hit it with some WD40 and wipe it down really well and you should be fine. happens to me when i go to the beach alot or if its really dry outside for a long time.
