Default just boosted my 00 si, im now running into some kinks

i just boosted my b16 and what are some reason why white smoke would be coming out of the valve cover stem? i havnt put im o2 sensor on it yet but everything else looks good. i really need some help... any advise would be helpful.

You may have blown your ringlands.. How much boost were you running and what kind of fuel management do you have?

5 lbs. shouldn't kill it as long as your sending enough fuel - it's hard to tell with the FMU though if you didn't have a wideband hooked up. Does it idle rough or have rough acceleration? If so, you probably blew one of the piston ringlands. I'd get a compression tester and check it out, if the difference between any of the cylinders is more than ~15-20 psi, you're probably going to need a rebuild.

it idles fine, but ill do that compression tester and see what happens. what other things could it be?

LoL my 99 Si was doing that. Guess where its at now? In the drive way with a 0 compression in cly. 3. and a LS block at the machine shop . Does your car idle funny by chance?

no the car is idling good. my check engine light is on and its smoking alot.

you need to NOT make two posts about the same subject. your motor is toast, end of story. now SEARCH this site and see what other people have done about it.
