could be a fuse, a short in the headlight switch, or short in the cluster

is the ground wire connected from the valve cover to radiator support by the driver headlight?

well the ground wire from the valve cover is grounded to the chasis, not to the radiator support. i was doing a little investigating, and when my car has the e-brake on, all is well, but when i take it off and its just sitting and the lights are on, it makes a ding sound, then the gauges shut down and half the lights are on in the gauges.

I just wanted to know if it was grounded at all, thanks for clarifying.

The e-brake switch sends a signal to the cluster to light up "BRAKE" light. Sounds like you have a short in the cluster, in my opinion.
