Default MAD valve chattering? something worn out? broken? help!

im crusing down the freeway. actually, im driving like an *******, bouncing off the governor at 125 and 7k rpm about 3 times in 2 minutes. really running my motor hard. its the stock ex motor, d16y8, all of a sudden i started hearing this minor fluttering sound, almost like something was hitting my fan.

so i get off the freeway, at a stop light i pop the hood and manually rev the motor..it sounds like its coming from the valves. well at this point im 30 miles from home. so i conitnue driving, as i drive home it gets worse and worse and louder and louder. its gone from a mild chatter, to a full blown knock, almost like a bolt is bouncing around in one of the intake ports or something. its starts getting real bad as i get closer to home, the motor starts stalling when i put it in neutral, im losing power from the motor and the sound is unbearable.

i havent pulled off the valve cover to look...my question is, what could this mean and or be? what should i look for? anyone else have this problem before? someone please help me because this month has been a $1500 month for my car already. i just put a new clutch in, new brake pads, changed the oil like i do every 3k, new tranny fluid, 2 new wheels on the right side from smashing into a curb...its just been one thing after another and what sucks is that its my dd and i need it to get to work. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

but the thing is it hasnt been a progressive thing. it all happend within 40 miles of driving. im gunna pull the valve cover in the morning. see if i see anything wrong. id much rather just swap out a y8 head than have rod bearings replaced. fuuuccck...more info is appreciated.

What can i say...

Probably from power shifting, not granny shifting like you should

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by strictly.business &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> new brake pads,</TD></TR></TABLE>
Probably from doing 40-0 in under 2.0 seconds at every stoplight

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by strictly.business &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> 2 new wheels on the right side from smashing into a curb...</TD></TR></TABLE>
one word...WOW! GET A BICYCLE no motor, no clutch, and the lil brake pads are like $3

It seems like you already generalized yourself as a really horrible driver... dont get mad when people tell you dont know how to drive, when in fact you already stated so YOURSELF! and dont be mad at me for i have only stated facts, quotes from your own post
