i never drove a car with Sport Shift Automatic. how do they work? it works like ferrari cars ? N - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5. or just starting from 1st. and it will be bad to tranny if i shift gears in red line??. i know its bad in Automatic cars. and do i just keep pressing the gas? or like manual cars? lol silly Q. but i wanna know

 

it starts in first. it lags; like 2 sec delay. yea you still hold the gas down.
**** is garbage and it was bad for the 97-99 preludes that honda never recalled

 

in my moms auto 3rd gen eclipse u dont even have to shift...u just put in in tiptronic mode and floor it and it shifts at redline for u....if u try shifting urself, it lags and takes just as much time as it would for the car to do it by itself. its ****** lame.

 

oh i see. same as TL / TSX / G35 / Lexus ?? since they are $$$ cars. might be different story??

it depends on the car...some actually have highly responsive tiptronic systems while others still lag when you shift, even newer ones. ur best bet is to take one ur interested in for a test drive and see for urself.

depends what car...the higher end cars shift faster...and im assuming you dont let go of the gas...
