either mount them on you cargo cover, or custom fab them where your rear speakers are.

why would you want to do that? just use the regular 6.5 size, i heard that they are better anyways cuz the shape is a perfect circle rather than a oval...im not 100% sure about that though

no 6x9's would sound way better...give you alittle more low to mid range sound with out sacraficing your whole turnk.

what you could do is, replace the front components, then maybe custom fab components in the rear, rather than custom fit 6x9's, im not sure which would be easier, or just buy some 4 channel 6 1/2's for the rear

I dont have pics because I am in Ireland, but I matched one of the holes and bolted it in. For the other three holes I bent old pieces to an erector set and then bolted the speakes to the erector set bolted to the stock holes. It has worked solid for over a year. Hope this helps.

most people in the audio forum would prob go the other way. in accords and stuff that come with 6x9's they put 6.5's in there.

i would just get some really good speakers that are stock size instead of having to fab.

spend money on better fronts and a sub if u want sound, if ur just looking to fit 6x9's to fit u could make somthing out of wood or even fiberglass somthing. are u looking for somthing easy or somthing custom because those are two different things.

I ran polk audio 6.5's in the rear factory location and 6x9's on the cargo cover. It worked out very well.

i ran amped 6x9 in my eg back in the day. no vibrations. sounded really nice. i even got rid of my sub cuz it sounded great without em. but my suggestion if u dont want to cut the trunk cover is to get some good 6.5 all around. less fab work too. i heard a round speaker compared to an oval one produces better bass. its all about the right amp with the right speaker
