Lets See That Quarter Panel/Fender Rust
Ok make me feel better about keeping my EF and always pouring money into it. Basically the whole car is new now except for the body and the past two winters have really taken there toll on the rear quarters/fenders. Throw up some pics of your rusted out or bubbling spots to make me feel better and not alone.
why don't you change your post to "lets see who has fixed there rust problems" would'nt it be more re-assuring to see that it can be fixed, no not everyone is a body guy its not that difficult to patch up a bit a metal, por 15 it and leave it in prime if you can't afford paint. do some research on metal repair, try to fix it yourself the best you can and take it to macco for a $400 paint job, tip the painter a couple bucks to give your rex extra care and it should look good for the next few years
Mine is getting pretty bad. The worst part about it is that the quarter panels were perfect about 18 months ago - it went from rust-free to rust-bucket that quickly.

LOL I don't remember, but just looking at the picture gives the impression that the car is dissolving or melting like ice cream right before your eyes.
