Default B18c help needed.

i'm getting a check engine light, and the coding is giving me number 17
not quite sure , but please analyse.
check light lit up for a lil (10) then flashed 7 times, hence 17.
what is the coding for that?
is it knock sensor? because my vtech not coming in, so i assume knock sensor not workin, thus no vtech?
i know the VAFC would bypass the knocksensor and vtech would work, but is the problem the knock sensor, or if not, what is?

The VAFC also does not bypass the knock sensor, it does bypass the vtec oil pressure sensor's signal to the ecu however.
