Default Manual rack into EK

I want to swap my power steering rack for a manual rack... all I do is swap the racks? I read somewhere I needed a new steering column as well... is this true?

How tough was the swap? Any advice/tips?

no need to swap because youll be putting a slower rack in there. if you really wanna swap a different rack in there, use the Integra ones, its quicker. but apparently all you wanna do is take out power steering. what you need to do is loop the fluid in the rack and put a breather, itll acheive what i think you want to do.

It just doesn't feel very good... it takes extra effort over a real manual rack. I'll check to see if my power steering is looped right now, but where do I put the breather?

within the loop. put a "T" fitting and another tube going to a canister with a hole in the cap to let it "breathe"
