Strange "Power Loss"...TPS????
So, I will lay out the scenario for you guys:
I am on the interstate with my right foot acting as the cruise control. I am doing 75 mph and the car is at about 4250rpm. On two instances in the 1 hour drive something wierd would happen. The rpm's of the motor would drop to just a touch below 4000rpm, and the car would lose speed. Now, it wasn't like I LOST alot of power, rather it was as-if the car was performing with about 10% less throttle. It FELT as if I had let off the gas a little bit, but my foot was perfectly planeted. About the time I start thinking "what the heck" the rpm's shoot back up to 4250 as if nothing had happened. The whole thing takes about 10-15 seconds.
What do you guys think? I am throwing no codes...first thing that comes to mind is the TPS sensor. Anyone have any familiarity with this one????

I dealt with an ****-load of ignition problems a couple months back and replaced the majority of everything. It's just wierd that it was a kind of on-off thing where it almost immediately fixed itself.

The other day I was 95 and dropped from 5th to 4th and floored it and after a few seconds my CEL came on. I flipped my handy dandy switch to get my codes and it was 22 VTEC pressure and 7 TPS. After getting off 95 I noticed that the car didn't want to idle right. Kept coming close to stalling and was just rough. However, i had no issues with it while driving. Seemed to run fine, just idled like crap. Turned the car off for about 15 mins at a friends house and then when I started it back up everything was fine and it was idling like normal.
In short, I don't think it's your TPS. I would think it would cause you problems constantly.

Thats what I thought about TPS also. I wonder if it could be a bad ground somewhere, resulting in this on/off phenomenon?
