I just finished a obd2 jdm gsr swap in a 98 hatch. It starts fine and you can rev it fine, but the second you let off the throttle , it dies. It doesnt rev up at all when you start it, like the warm up rpm. It just starts and dies. What could be the problem? Thanks in advance.

sensors all hooked up correctly ?

 

Dirty throttle body? Iac working/hooked up?

 

Check the iac. That sensor and another sensor on that motor have the same plug, maybe you got them mixed up.

 

what harness did you use? if the y7 harness did ur do the iac fix...?

TPS? Thats my best guess. Hard to say without getting ahold of the car and seeing for myself. Any engine codes?
