Default What exhaust to use with H22 swap in 5th Gen?

I'm possibly ddoing a H22 swap into my gf's 96 but we did alot of work in regards to her exhaust for the F22, so I'm wondering, if I drop in the H22, will the H22 header bolt on to the cat converter of the F22?

FYI- the H22 comes with a DC-sport 2pc and we have a bolt on Random Tech Cat in place of the stock F22 and Magnaflow cat-back.

I tried to search but my results came back negative.

I believe you'd need to have the header re-welded so that it can bolt up to the cat. Now would be a good time to change to a larger collector.

you need to get a test pipe that has the proper flanges on either side of the pipe. you may have to cut out or add a section of pipe to the back side of the exhaust piping.

K, basically if I take the flange off the aftermarket header from the F22 and weld it in place of the DC Sport header from the H22 I can just bolt everything up? I have a random Tech cat and a Magnaflow 2.25 cat-back already on the car.

No, the length of the header is different.

Yes, we know that. That is not what we were concerned about.

length of the h22 header is different. your best bet would probably get a cat designed for the H header, bolt that up, and then re weld (if neccesary) to an Accord mid pipe. it may be more costly, but you could change out exhausts to something from a CD6 accord. alot of manufacturers made/make exhausts for that car in Japan, but not for the f22 in the US (example, apexi N1)
