NEW To EG's, Exhaust Bolt UP Questions for all EG hatchs with H22's
first off i tried searching but didnt really find what i was looking for.
basically i just sold my CRX so im get a 92-95 hatch
doing an h22 swap so i am in the process of ordering my parts so i am ordering some ebay 4-2-1 h22 headers or maybe some DC Sport, and was wondering will they bolt up to my stock civic cat when i do my swap or can i purchase a high flow cat for a 92-96 prelude and bolt it to the header and will the high flow cat bolt to the stock exhaust system of the EG?
thanks

i dont know for sure but i think you have to do custom exhaust.
the stock civic cat is smaller than the h22 calls for so you will have to get a new cat. i would say get it for the h22 but not 100% on it

thats what i thought but wasnt sure.
like he said test pipe or cut part of the exhaust AFTER you measure and then wled the flange back on

Re: (civictildeath)
so basically with the motor in with the headers on and a prelude high flow cat on, the cat will be behind the stock exhaust sytem and not line up since it is longer right?

Re: (h22John)
or, jsut do your swap, get any 2.5" cat back exhaust and get a custom piece to connect the cat convertor to the header.
I have an OEM header, 2.5" cat , and 2.5"catback exhaust. only fabrication was the piece that i mentioned above.
