2nd run did the best i could (only got 2 runs) but didnt miss a gear

Last year I went 14.6 with an uberdata tune and no big brakes...so im guessing that made me the 1/2 second faster...going for a retune this sunday.

UPDATE:

Distributor was 4 degrees retarded, so i fixed that
did a valve lash
got tuned on chrome (street) conservatively, because its a road car so im not trying to risk anything

Mph is hurting for a hatch with any swap. Thats like the time for an EG with a Ls swap.

 

work on that 60ft. you will be just fine

Last yr I trapped high 95s low 96s...I couldnt figure it out...

lol you may also want to practice launching and lowering the Psi on those tires. o and get it tuned

My buddy with shity dc sport US header and exhaust with intake ran 14.4 along time like 4 years ago. Im sure thats doable.

yea that line and that purple box is why he runs 13.8. but even if hes not using nitrous 13.8 is easily doable with a stock b series in a gutted hatch with slicks.

Never sprayed that motor with juice since I swapped it in. Those runs are all NA with stock internals.

Just last wednesday I went to the track and I was surprise that I ran 14.6's. Before with the speaker box it ran 14.8's to 15.2's depending on track condition with a crappy LS tranny.

 

OK so its official...my car is actually slower. Went to the track tonight after valve lash, tune, getting timing back to normal...and even though my car feels great with the new tune... its just as slow

no improvement!!! that was my best time... took a while to get launching right...</TD></TR></TABLE> hmm, well if you drop your 60 foot times you'll break into the 14's no problem.. your trap mph is good so you're gaining speed in the 1000ft + mark.. Try and get a pair of slicks on your car, drop the exhaust and get some seat time.. GL

How is your compression and/or leak down? Do you have a catalytic converter? maybe is clogged up.

 

no cat and i havent done a compression test yet....not sure if i want too....
