So I went to the track tonight....
AND SUCKED! haha my car is setup for road course, but I had to see if I was any good at driving
going to the track this weds/sunday to see some improvment....
Stock b16, bolt ons in caged hatch w/ rear disc conversion....mostly gutted
bullshit skunk 2 tune
kosei k1s wrapped in Kuhmo MX tires@ 20psi
launched from 5500
1st run bogged launch, missed 3rd
60-2.435
1/4 15.5
mph-90.87
2nd run did the best i could (only got 2 runs) but didnt miss a gear
60-2.355
1/4-15.15
mph-91.5
Last year I went 14.6 with an uberdata tune and no big brakes...so im guessing that made me the 1/2 second faster...going for a retune this sunday.

Distributor was 4 degrees retarded, so i fixed that
did a valve lash
got tuned on chrome (street) conservatively, because its a road car so im not trying to risk anything

Just last wednesday I went to the track and I was surprise that I ran 14.6's. Before with the speaker box it ran 14.8's to 15.2's depending on track condition with a crappy LS tranny.
OK so its official...my car is actually slower. Went to the track tonight after valve lash, tune, getting timing back to normal...and even though my car feels great with the new tune... its just as slow

Try and get a pair of slicks on your car, drop the exhaust and get some seat time.. GL
