shifter question
Alright, i'm about to go crazy here. I have been having this problem. The short shifter that i installed is working great up until now. The bolt that attaches it to the shift linkage keeps loosening up and am in need to know what size bolt that is so that i can replace it...anyone have any ideas?

He is correct, a normal nut will losen up over time, a nylon nut is a real pain to get on sometimes but it grabs onto the threads and wont losen up with vibration.
well, i found out what kind of nut i ahd on there....it was a normal nut..oh well...anyways....i bought a new bolt casue the old one was rusting, then i bought two nuts, tightened the first one up, then tightened another one in behind it, interlocking the threads really good and it's nice and tight now.....
