Got a set of very clean 02 RSX cloth seats off Ebay for my 92 civic - I knew the seat brackets were different but though I could swap them... wrong! Has anyone swapped these seats?

search it, its been done a bunch of times. i'm pretty sure people used si brackets or ITR/Gsr brackets and it works with the eg. Only thing is that one of the four bolts won't be able to be screwed in. and they sit kinda high too...but besides that it should be fairly easy! good luck

 

I've searched quite a bit and found S2000 > Civic seat swap but not RSX > Civic seat swap. The S2000 seats appear to have the same seat pan as 92-95 civics so the swap seems more straight forward. The RSX seat pan is completely different. The only RSX swaps I've seen required cutting off the existing brackets and welding on custom ones...

Any Help would be appreciated... Ken

 

So it looks like I'll have to make adapters to get the existing rails to work... Anyone know how the seat recline handle comes off? Is it a snap fit?

just get a welder and cut the existing rsx seat rails and modd the eg/dc seat rails onto them. thats the way id do it cause im a gangster.

 

gangster do their own work on their car???? or they pay for the service??? lol.....

 

I have fg2 (2006 si) seats - similar issues mounting them...
