AC Switching on off... ALL THE TIME!
When I turn on the AC the compressor turns on and off like every two seconds. You can really feel it in the car (00 EX 5speed). I checked the pressure level and it looks like its at 40 psi. I think that's an OK level.
Why is my AC doing this???

What's the high side pressure? Does the condensor fan run?

That's what I thought too. I have a recharge hit. I think the low side has about 25-30 psi, it won't take any more.

The thing is was I was trying to add some. I bought one of those recharge kits. It wouldn't take anymore than 22 psi or so.

With R-134A I am unable to connect the gauge to the high side.
I'll check to see if the condensor fan is running.
