Default power window conversion

hi all, i'm new and i need some major help. i just spent the last 3 hours trying to wire in some power windows and door locks for my 95 civic coupe dx. i cant figure out where the heck all these darn wires go and where they plug into. the main wiring harness on the drivers side, where does it plug into? is a dx pre-wired for power options (plug-n-play) or do i need wires to go to the fuse box and/or battery? i only have the wires that are in the doors, nothing that goes past there. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

you need the floor harness from an EX for it to be plug and play.

you'll need to run the wires to the under dash fuse box, ground and two to the passenger's door.
I did my own harness when I added power windows to my VX. Post up what wire colors you have to work with and I'll step you through what needs to be done.

on the wire colors, do you mean the power window and door locks or from my car's harness it self....

also, i called a local junk yard and they said i would have to re-wire the whole car with a new main harness and a new fuse box, is that true? sounds expensive, lol....

if you're doing it all yourself it's not too bad.

if you can give the locks seperate than the window wires I can get what ever you need to connect everything.

first off great job recording what colors the wires are, everything matched perfectly to what the manual says. Which made it really easy for me to find.
just a FYI, the dots are not important.
stripe is indicated by a / then the color of the stripe. red/blue is red with a blue stripe.

locks are easy, just like in the manual.
**white/green - power from fuse box (12V at all times, 30A fuse)
**black - power lock switch 2
**green/white - power lock switch 1
**green/red - power lock switch 3
**yellow/red - power lock motor output2 (driver's and passenger's)
blue/white - **??? door lock **** input into door lock control box
**white/red - power lock motor output1 (driver's and passenger's)

blue - driver's window pulser signal to motor
red/blue - motor1 output of driver's switch
black - ground
red/yellow - motor2 output of driver's switch

blue/red - motor1 output of passenger's switch
blue/white - motor2 ouput of passenger's switch

Main Harness out of Drivers side
blue/green(bigger) - ????
blue/green(smaller) - driver's switch signal to passenger's window switch
blue/black - passenger's window power from power window relay
white/yellow - driver's window power from power window relay
gray/black - ????
blue/yellow - driver's switch signal to passenger's window switch
yellow/white - ????
blue/black - passenger's window power from power window relay
green/white - ????
black - ground
black - ground
black - ground
green/red - ????
yellow/red - ????
white/red - ????

I thought I had all the wires figured out in the 2door power windows. Since it's not covered in the Helm manual I rtried to peice things together using the 4-door pages.
But since I did mysetup with aftermarket window motors and OEM switches I only had to figure out how things were used, not the colors.

Maybe between the two of us we can step you through this and at the same time document this for future people doing this.

this is what I put together based on what I know about the switches for the power windows.

I appologize if this seems overwhelming and confusing.
If you could take the plugs that you have (bottom of the page C605 and C629) and list the colors in each position I'll update the page with the right colors. Once we have that much I can tell you in simple terms how to hook everything up.
