I believe its the sending unit. I know where its at on the head under the distributor cap and I checked it and it looked fine and it was connected so Im thinking its the wiring. How should I go about to fix this?? How would I trace the wiring to make sure its good??

start with the easy stuff, like replacing the sending unit. then follow that wire from the sending unit and make sure its not damaged. Did you do any mods prior to this occuring?

no to tell you the truth I think I haven't engaged VTEC for awhile now. At first I noticed it an **** like power loss an ****. But the homeys were like naw we can hear it engage and what not so I thought it was in my mind or something you know?? I had an exhaust leak and during that time there was no doubting the VTEC engagement you could hear it like crazy. But then the leak got really bad so I went and had it fixed and after that I couldn't hear it anymore. The only things that could possibly affect is like you said wiring or unit itself. Can I use a OBD-1 unit from a F22 motor to work on my H22???
