Default drive shafts too short???

iv just finished my ITR brake conversion, this included the hubs (5 stud bling blang). iv come to put my driveshafts back into the hubs and they seem as if there too short, if the track is 10mm wider thats 5mm wider each side (duh), they come through enough for me to get the nut on, so i thought that i just hadnt put them through properly and tightening the nut would pull them through but it seems as if the nut wont really go any tighter, do i need ITR drive shafts??

Lube the hubs with anti seize. They should slide right in.

nah, it looks like the ABS cog thing is stopping it from going into the ITR sindle/hub, can this be removed?

iv found out they are different, the 98+ ITR's had bigger and longer splines, apparently i can just change the outer CV joint for the correct ones (00 ITR in this case), how do i get these off, i have the shafts off and have removed the boots but i cant see how they come off, can anyone help?
