Default Sloppy Main Seal (d-series)

I'm putting together a d-series and the rear oil seal seems to be really loose. Is this normal in the d-series engine? There is a hint of contact between the seal and the crank, but it seems very loose.

I've ordered the right part numbers. Do any of the d-series use an odd ball rear main seal. This crank in particular is a d16a6.

Thanks.

The seal slides on pretty tight on my y8 crank. About the same as the cam seal.

I'm not sure what to think of mine then. I've tried it on two different cranks now, an a6 and a z6, and they both seem loose. Maybe I'm just being paranoid but I would hate to have to replace a main seal right after and install.

I'm going to head to honda and get a new main seal housing and seal. If anything it will ease my mind.
