First, search.
Second, do it the right way and get a better flowing converter from a place like SMSP. Look them up. "Test pipes" are illegal in all 50 states as an FYI.

I agree with Wraith_G2IC, contact SMSP and tell him your setup and that yoy need a high flow cat, and he will fab one up for you.

i have a high flow cat... works wonders... or you can just gut your cat that you have on. and if you get pulled over, just act like theres nothing wrong with your cat

It's not a "state law" guys, it is a Federal EPA law. Just because you don't have a state inspection doesn't mean you get a "free pass" to do whatever.

Get a cop in a bad mood who smells your eye-watering exhaust and they will do a field inspection and administer a hefty fine.

do you have to have your car E-checked where you are in Ohio ? if so you can do what i do seeing as though they just look to see if oyu have a cat. i just took a big *** screwdriver, and knocked all that **** out of the cat with a hammer. hahaha
works well.

i've seen dyno tests where a test pipe made like one extra hp over a high flow cat on a built motor. u might as well get a cat. u stay legal and theres not much of an increase in noise. like was already posted, check out smsp's site, he sells some high flow cats. u will be happier in the end.

I say test pipe all year round until you have to get emissions then you throw the cat back on if you get a ticket its always just a "fix it" ticket and thats easy to take care of.

but yeah, as stated before, its safer just to go with a high flow cat.

Well I have a 3 inch resonator welded into my exhaust system without a cat. 3 inches all the way. it can be loud but since i have a turbo on it it's quieter than if u ran it with some 4-1 headers. O what the hell, get a resonator with no cat. get the 02 bunged in their somewhere and ride like crazy. lol

just gut your cat like i did. It doesnt make a noise difference with a turbo setup. Better flow, i notice the difference of sound and power.
