i have been searching and readin alot about swaps for a crx

at first my goal was a gsr swap then later trubo...well i'm in high school and dotn make much money so that is out of teh question

now i'm considering going b16 since its about half teh price and then turbo eventually

what do you guys think? also i hera people say they were disappointed by b16's why would that be, the numbers arent too bad except for the torque but turbo can easily change that

thanks for any help and also anyone reccomend some upgrades for a b16 when you first get it?

 

ive seen stock b16's run from the upper 15's to mid 14's.. i konw of one that went upper 13's with a zex dry 55 shot...

its all in teh setup man if you use teh right ecu good tires and dont take short cuts it will be nice

another big factor is the tranny and gearing

there are alot of variables just do your homeowrk on it and study other peoples drag times and setups you will find what you want

the people that were disapointed with there b16's rpobaly diditn know what they were doing or were shitty drivers who took there cars to the track on bald tires
