Default Speedglass

I sent Percy's speedglass an email inquiring about pricing for 92-95 kits and they responded with this..

I did'nt realise they had differnt thickness'. naturally I would be looking at the thinnest ones for weight and cost. but is there a disadvatage for a street/strip car? I assume they would be thinner than the factory?

NHRA guidelines state 1/8" minimum thickness windows are required in all classes.

You only need 1/8". Thats why you see the center support on race cars that run lexan. 1/4" is unecessarily thick.
