back = dark as you want.
front = absolutely nothing

although...with 40% of the people driving around with tint on their front windows, its not common to get pulled over for it...but if you do something stupid and a cop pulls you over, you can count on getting a ticket for whatever you did + the windows

the only window you cant tint is the windshield.

the back windows you could tint limo tints.

but the driver and passenger windows can be 35%

your two front windows must have 75% of light coming in. so theres not really a point i tintin the front 2 windows.

that is the law but most officers let you get away with about a number 2 tint....... but if u get pulled over and they have no legit reason... they will blame the tint...

alacard is correct in california you can not have ANY window tint on your drivers side and passenger side door windows. period.

the reason why people are getting popped for this nowadays is because its been a law that has not been enforced for dacades, and the cities need extra revenue, and its an easy law to follow let alone write tickets for that will not get dropped in court.

kinda like the modified exhaust law.
