Default Noob Question : Swap???

Hello, new here today and I wanted to ask my 1st question before I make any changes to this car. Just picked up a 95 Honda Civic Dx 5spd with 81,000. I my 1st area of upgrade is the engine. I'm thinking about doing one of two things.
Either a complete swap or a mini-me. The engine i was thinking about was

B16A 92-95 (SiR-II) Complete Change Over w/ Tranny
2250.00 + S/H + Motor Mounts + 800 for installment at local shop

and for the mini-me I was going to do
z6 head and parts + S/H + 500 installement at local shop + ex tranny

Now the reason there is installment charges is because I don't know how to swap a engine or the tool to do either of them. Now Im in college right now and married. If I do the swap i will have to save and do it next spring but the mini-me I can get done this summer. As being my 1st major upgrade which one should I do and any input and why is greatly thanks.

i would go with the z6 head and do the mini me, that way you get vtec at a lot lower cost. Plus it would cost less so you could save up and do more work later on.

Do the B16 or you will regret it later.

I would go with the mini me for now, and see if any future plans change. If you go b16, it might not be enough power for you. This way if you do a mini me, you won't spend as much and you won't be too disapointed if its not what you expect from it.

Very true, now with the mini-me i've heard the 2 common ones are z6 and y8 I know the z6 comes from like a 95 ex and the y8 from. Thinking about the z6 mini-me. What is the list of parts I'm going to need for this before I take it to the shop to have them install it. I know I want a y8 head gasket because it's metal but I just need to get a list together so I can start to buy.

if you use the z6 you can use the ecu, dist, injectors wire harness. im pretty sure that this would keep it obd 1 and you would have less restrictions as far as tuning goes. im sure there is more stuff you could use. also ill have a z6 head soon if your looking for 1.

I have a complete z6 swap if your interested as well. I have family in portage indiana I would have no problem delivering if you pay my gas up there? The only reason I took it out was for my h22 now.
