engine swap
My engine just craped out on me and sherwood honda isnt honoring the warrenty they gave me. Sueing them is going to take a while so in the meantime what kind of engine should I throw in my 96 civic ex 5 speed. How much would it all cost. I live in the south florida area if anyone knows of any good shops, im tired of doing business with the dealership.

Re: engine swap (binkster)
i just bought a jdm d15b swap off of ardperformance.com....i am vwery pleased with the motor- it has less than 30k, and is EXTREMELY clean. The swap cost me $650 w/o tranny, but i used my z6 trans and bought a new clutch. I have heard different stories/opinions, but the d15 in my sol, def. pulls harder then my z6.

Re: engine swap (del_sol)
Thanks, they do have really good prices!!! The only thing that scares me is they have no warranty..I just paid $3800 for a complete swap at the delearship for a D16y8 and the F*@#ing thing craped out on me and they only gave me a 3 month waranty, well thats what they tell me.. ill let the court decide.. I got a dud of an engine once im afraid it will happen again.
