code 23?? please help tuning tomorrow
got the beast started with no leaks and no Check Engine Lights. then i take it for a test drive and i get a CEL, and the car is running real rough . checking the data link i get code 23 which is not in my book. anyone know what code 23 is on an obd1 p13 ecu. please help! tuning tomorrow. must fix tonight

ok well i figured out that that is a knock sensor code. make sense being im not running one. any reason the revs are rough and choppy meaning its not smooth.

A bad knock sensor wont cause a rough idle, it just wont detect knock. \
