what do you mean the mount? THe motor mounts? Those are the same. The b18as have a cable tranny so you have to convert it to work.

if you have a dc2 why would you put a non-vtec b18a? unless you have a dc4, they i kinda understand, as far as i know the b18a's have 130 hp and the b18b's have 140 hp not to mention the OBD difference. it may be hard for you to pass emissions with an older motor than the car depending on where you live

can you just put the b16 pistons in ur b18b?

Your DC2 has a B18C DOHC VTEC engine.

A B18A is a DOHC non-VTEC engine. Of course there's a difference.

you can just swap all your existing mounts, intake man. and tranny into the new motor.
swap water necks also.

well i mean my dc4 it a 95 ls and i bought a b18a block with b16 pistons because i already have an b16 head on my stock ls block with the stock pistons and it slow and i got a good deal on the other block so im just swaping it over and trying to see if it would go straight in and if since b18a use cable tranny can i use my hydro tranny wit no problem just need to know before i pull the motor out

The 90-91 B18A's were rated at 130hp, all 92+ LS's (B18A & B) were upped to 140hp with new cams and IIRC a different IM.

In any event, he's using a compleltey non stock block since he's going with B16 pistons anyways so it really doesn't matter.
