Who knows the difference between B18A and B18B??
Is the b18a (old skool) good to use with a 94 civic hb? meaning the engine only since, I do have a type-r tranny? Will ALL the Mounts line up?

it should bolt rite up since u just using the long block.
the only notcable differance i can see is the intake manifold...besides the cable tranny.

a b18a will work but its kindof old so if you want it in good shape it might need a rebuild or whatever depending on mileage. Also, a b18a must have been from 90-93, probably 92-93 if you are going to stick with obd-1 but thats still too old for your car and it would be illegal in CA where you are located. Still those things are not hard to get by.

thanx guys...this will help me pursue my ls/vtec build up. I was just worried about the drivers side lower mount not bolting up since the integra 90-93 doesn't use or have one.
